FINAL SCRATCH LEAGUE RESULT AGAINST STRATHMORE

 

Blairgowrie played their last match of the season against Strathmore last night in the pouring rain and managed a win to Blair of 4.5 to .5. Well done to the team of Jillian Milne, Heather Anderson, Susan Arbuckle, Gillian Wallace and Moira Lumby. Blairgowrie have managed to win 5 out of their 6 matches this season.

Apart from above players, thanks also go to Sandy Bushby, Fiona Johnston and Mary Miller.

The Scratch League AGM takes place Monday 5th October at 6.30pm at Blairgowrie.

FRIENDLY MATCH RESULT V CRAIL

Blairgowrie v Crail Match Result - 27/07/15

Yesterday, Blair Ladies played our rescheduled match against Crail Ladies over Rosemount. Sadly, the weather was unseasonably cool and it rained for most of it! The course was however in great condition and a well fought match took place with Crail taking the honours 3 - 1.

Friendly Match v Strathmore - 13/07/15

Today, Blairgowrie Ladies played our annual friendly match v Strathmore Ladies at Strathmore. After heavy rain overnight, the conditions remained  quite muggy and some light rain did linger for a while.       A very good meal was enjoyed after the match and I am happy to report that Blair Ladies ran out winners, 3 - 1!

BLAIRGOWRIE V ST RULE MATCH 1ST JULY 2015

Blairgowrie Ladies v St Rule Ladies Friendly Match

 

Today Blairgowrie Ladies visited St Andrews to play The St Rule Golf Club over the Eden course. Conditions at the start were sunny with a stiff breeze blowing. Sadly these conditions did not last and the clouds came in bringing with them some rain, hailstones and even a clap of thunder! Thankfully this did not last and kit had dried out well before the end of the round. The course was in immaculate condition and the greens were a real test due to their speed. Afterward the ladies retired to the lovely St Rule clubhouse, overlooking the 18th on the Old Course and enjoyed an excellent meal and some lively chat! Although Blair fought valiantly, with the first game going down to the last put on the 18th, St Rule ran out very convincing winners with local knowledge being of huge advantage!
