Saturday was a special day for some of our Junior
Members, including Katy Alexander, when they took part in a match, on
Rosemount, against a touring team from Arizona, USA. It was a beautiful day and
Rosemount was a good contrast to St. Andrew’s New Course, where the visitors
had played on the previous day. The
teams took everything in their stride when they were announced on the first tee
and members watching witnessed excellent drives down the fairway, disappearing
into the distance. Katy won her own
match 3&2 and the Blairgowrie Team won overall - 7 ½ to 2 ½
Well done to everyone
playing, a victory in their first international match.
