Captain Kathy Cameron welcomed everyone to the lunch
Christmas lunch today was a very happy occasion at Blairgowrie Golf Club. Ladies gathered in the lounge for a pre lunch drink and it was a chance to catch up as many had not been to the club for a while. We were then called into the dining room where lunch was served. We were entertained with quizzes, songs and mystery prize winners. The Turkey Trot prizes were also awarded. An excellent £340.00 was raised for MacMillan. Just look at the photos to get a feeling for the lovely day.

Congratulations to Katy Alexander who was presented with the Best Girl Golfer of the year trophy at the Junior Prize Giving. Well done Katy and here's to many more trophies in your career.
The weather was kinder to us today and everybody managed to get round dry. Well done to the winners who had great scores: Division 1 1st Lesley Findlay nett 45 and 2nd Heather Dawson nett 46 Division 2 1st Louise Whitehead nett 45 (bih) and 2nd Janet MacKenzie nett 45.

It's amazing what turns up at the Club these days.
Despite there not being any golf played due to the snow and fog, fourteen ladies turned up to play bridge today. There was a lovely fire roaring away which made the atmosphere very cosy. Afterwards everyone gathered for a cup of tea and a good chat as illustrated in the picture below. Noreen Fordyce has suggested that when everyone gathers for bridge on the 22nd of December that maybe they could arrive at 11:30 to partake in some pre game sandwiches. There was also a hint that there might be prizes as well!! Please let Angie in the bar know if you would like to play on the 22nd and she can inform Noreen.
