LADIES' INVITATION RESULTS

Ladies Invitation Day's new format proved to be extremely popular with 84 ladies enjoying the Shotgun Start. The weather was extremely kind with only one short shower. Rosemount was in excellent condition for this event. 89 ladies enjoyed hospitality in the bar (low alcohol Invitation Day cocktails) followed by an absolutely delicious Afternoon Tea in the dining room.

MATCH BLAIRGOWRIE VS CRIEFF AT CRIEFF 18TH MAY 2015

The Blairgowrie ladies travelled to Crieff yesterday for their match. Even though the weather was extremely wet in the morning it managed to fair up in the afternoon.The match resulted in a 2-2 draw. Many thanks to the team who were Meg Marshall (Captain), Noreen Fordyce, Mary Hope, Heather Dawson, Christine Ogilvie, Christina Cleeton, Katy Chapman and Judith Clowe.

BLAIRGOWRIE V CARNOUSTIE CALEDONIA MATCH RESULT 4TH MAY 2015

 

Friendly Match Result

Blairgowrie Ladies played Carnoustie Caledonia Ladies yesterday in our annual friendly match. The match was played over Rosemount in great conditions - beautiful sunshine with a moderate breeze (what a difference a day makes!). The match ended in a well contested draw against stiff opposition. Afterward the ladies enjoyed post match drinks and chat outside in the sunshine before retiring to the dining room for a lovely meal.

BLAIRGOWRIE VS ELIE MATCH RESULTS 27/04/2015

 

Yesterday Blairgowrie played Elie in our annual friendly match over Rosemount. Sadly the weather played rather a big part in the match, with heavy rain/wind resulting in the match being abandoned around the 15th. Elie were ahead in 3 games at this point and claimed the win. (Some may say it should have been deemed a friendly draw.) The disappointment of having to abandon was, however, soothed by the good company and an excellent meal afterwards in the dinning room.
