We have received news from Jen Petrie that Sally Shepherd (daughter of Irene Shepherd) has won the Highland Women's Open at Pitlochry Golf Club, when she beat local player Isla Moncrieff by 3 and 2 in the final. Sally has been playing in the tournament for 20 years and this was her 6th appearance in the final. ....and her first victory. To reach the final Sally had a tough match in the morning against Laura Walker of Muckhart. Congratulations from everybody at Blairgowrie on a fine win.P.S. Please share your success!
