OPENING SEASON DINNER

Club Captain, Robin Duncan opened the evening by welcoming club members and their guests, followed by a hearty introduction for the guest speaker for the evening, Mr Willie Hunter.  Mr Hunter plays his own golf at Mortonhall, having a handicap of 8, resides in the Edinburgh area and has a wealth of experience in after dinner speaking, covering a wide range of interests.

Robin was accompanied by the Lady Captain, Kathy Cameron at the top table along with other club members.   Mr Hunter delivered an entertaining talk, retelling stories of his days as a student in Dundee, studying Law, to his love for golf, rugby and football.  Mr Hunter was a keen and talented rugby player in his younger years and continues to be a faithful, "Jambo," Hearts supporter.

There was a good turn out this evening, with 100 people sitting down to eat and enjoy the humour.  Robin rounded off tthe evening by giving a vote of thanks to Willie for his descriptive and comical stories, followed by thanking the catering and bar staff for providing a high quality of service.
