Winter League - Stanley Clark Trophy

Six ladies played today in the Winter League which along with 2 last Sunday, made a total of 8 players.  It was a rainy day with a number of call offs.

The results were

Carolyn Haddow, Division 1 Winner with net 48 and 

Gill Tissell, Division 2 Winner with net 56.

Congratulations to the winners and well done to all the ladies who played in not so good conditions.

Winter League

 Katie Chapman was today's winner of Division 1 of our  Winter League with a net 45. 
June Dargie was the winner of Division 2 with a net 52.

Congratulations to you both.

Ladies please make sure your names are in by a Tuesday  for the Winter League Draws during the Christmas and New Year weeks.

Monday Social Events 2020

LADIES SECTION

The first of our  popular Monday morning social meetings will commence on 13^th January, 2020.

Neil Cameron, our Professional, will be meeting the Ladies

in the Clubhouse  on

Monday 13^th January, 2020 at 10 a.m.

to give us some tuition and  expert advice on putting.

On Monday, 27^th January, 2020, our resident Chef, Gary will be giving us  a cookery demonstration.   This will prove a really interesting morning.

I look forward to seeing you all.

LADIES CHRISTMAS LUNCH 13/12/2019

Lady Captain Margaret Kerr welcomed  ladies to the 2019 Ladies Christmas Lunch which just happened to fall the day after the General Election, meaning there were some attendees who had been up all night following the drama!  No one seemed the worse for wear and we all tucked into a fantastic Christmas spread before being entertained by the Committee with a  brain-teasing golf  quiz,  mastered by Jo Stewart, a rollicking sing-a-long, courtesy of Jacqui Landsburgh  and the Elimination Game,  orchestrated by Mary Miller.  The Golf Hamper raffled for the Captain's Charity was won by Maureen Reid and £276 was raised. Past Captain Margaret Hunter gave the vote of thanks.  Congratulations to our committee for their hard work in making the day such a success.

KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY 08/12/2019

The weather  outside was dreadful for the Kids' Christmas Party today,  but inside the Clubhouse there was lots of  fun and lots of laughter.  Despite the driving rain Santa Claus managed to put in an appearance on his golf buggy, suitably decorated for the visit!

Lady Captain Margaret Kerr joined in,  helped by  Mrs Santa Claus (Past Captain Fiona Johnston.)

P.S Remember to get your ticket for the  Ladies Christmas Lunch this Friday -  you can phone the Bar to reserve a ticket if you will not be at the Club. Tickets are £15.00 which includes a glass of wine/ soft drink.

LADY CAPTAIN'S CHRISTMAS CHARITY HAMPER
Instead of a collection for the Lady Captain's Charity for 2019-2020 (Rachel House Children's Hospice, Kinross) the Ladies have very kindly donated a hamper with golfing goodies....shirts, balls, tees, etc...this is on display at the Bar and tickets  are available at the Bar, at only £1 each. The draw will take place at the Ladies Christmas Lunch next Friday, 13th December.   Please  remember to get your ticket for the Lunch. If you will not be at the Club in the next few days, you can phone the Bar and reserve a ticket (£15.00). Thanks!
