Lady Captain Margaret Kerr welcomed ladies to the 2019 Ladies Christmas
Lunch which just happened to fall the day after the General Election,
meaning there were some attendees who had been up all night following
the drama! No one seemed the worse for wear and we all tucked into a
fantastic Christmas spread before being entertained by the Committee
with a brain-teasing golf quiz, mastered by Jo Stewart, a rollicking
sing-a-long, courtesy of Jacqui Landsburgh and the Elimination Game,
orchestrated by Mary Miller. The Golf Hamper raffled for the Captain's
Charity was won by Maureen Reid and £276 was raised. Past Captain
Margaret Hunter gave the vote of thanks. Congratulations to our
committee for their hard work in making the day such a success.
