Our third Handicap League match took place on Monday 20th June away at King James. Unfortunately King James only managed to field a team of two due to illness, injury and holiday commitments. Under the Handicap League rules, despite Blairgowrie having already won the match, the remaining two games had to be played to decide the final score. Fiona Johnston and Hannah Pickford represented our team with one game won and one lost which gave a final result of a 4-1 win to Blairgowrie. Sue Waddell (Captain), Anne Farquharson and Fiona Edwards enjoyed a relaxing and fun competition amongst themselves. After a warm, sunny day, the weather was cooler in the evening and very pleasant, however with the course being to close to the river there were plenty of biting 'beasties' to avoid!
