Fourteen pairs competed in Friday’s Greensomes
competition on Rosemount in cool, but mainly sunny conditions. The winners,
with an impressive score of 66 were Sheila Bruce and June Dargie; runners up were Fiona
Edwards and Anne Farquharson with 73. Below is the Ladies Captain Sue
presenting the winners with golf balls.

Next Friday we have another pairs competition, this time a Pinehurst on Rosemount and, for those of you who are unfamiliar with this format, an explanation is as follows:
Each player drives, for the second shot you play each other’s ball and then for the third shot you select the one ball you wish to play and then play alternate shots thereafter until completion of the hole.
