FROM THE MATCH SECRETARY

As our Lady Captain stated at the "Get together" on Monday evening, the new season is just around the corner.  In this respect, I would like to remind members of a few matters.

1. The age for entry to the Senior Invitation Day, on the 9th May has been reduced to 55 years and is no longer 60 years as is printed in the fixture list.  We are looking forward to a good turnout for this event.

2. There has been a very good entry for the Ladies v. Senior Gents match on Tuesday 11th April and as previously stated on the signing up sheet, a draw will be made to select the 24 lady players for the match.  This draw will be made on Sunday 2nd April after the Captain v. Vice Captain match.

3. Payment of Competition Levy. The levy is £5.00 and £2.00 for Wee Course members. Members are reminded that if you have not paid your Levy before the club competitions commence, you can still play in any competition, but unfortunately you will not be able to win the respective medal or trophy.

I wish you all a good season and hope you achieve your own goals, whether they be to meet new friends, reduce your handicap or as in my own case attempt to retain it.  Enjoy the golf and good luck.
