23rd March was another beautiful day for golf when 30 ladies took
part in the pre-season fun Texas Scramble, over 16 holes on Lansdowne. And the winners were:
1st Katie
Chapman, June Dargie and Sandy Bushby 57.4
2nd Leonora
Bennet, Ella Allan, Julie Wink 58.0
3rd Eileen
McMurray, Louise Whitehead and Christina Cleeton 60.5

FUTURE EVENTS
NEXT WEEK, Thursday 30th
March is to be another fun competition in a Pinehurst format – missing out
holes 7 & 8 again by request. There
will be a mixed draw for teams of two - enter you name on line and a draw will
be made for partners.
SUNDAY 2ND APRIL – LADIES’ CAPTAIN V. VICE-CAPTAIN MATCH - 1pm
shotgun start on Rosemount over 16 holes and also open to Lansdowne Associate
Members. Please meet at 12.30pm for the
official photograph.

enter your name on line to take part.
After the match there will be a glass of wine to celebrate the opening
of the Season followed by a one course meal, cake and tea/coffee for £10. There
is a sheet for names in the locker room upstairs for anyone wishing to have the
meal. If anyone is unable to play golf but would like to join us for the meal
afterwards (probably around 5.30 pm) please add your name to the list.
