Blairgowrie Ladies against Crail Ladies 18 October

Sunday the 18th of October saw the start of our Winter League Friendlies, with Blairgowrie playing away to Crail on the Craighead course. The captain on the day, Fiona Edwards reported that the weather was like a summer’s day with no wind at all, it was warm and absolutely gorgeous. Players proved to be good company with players having many laughs in their groups.  Lovely soup and sandwiches were served after the games. It was all so good and a braw day overall, despite Blairgowrie losing 3-0.

I would like to thank Fiona Edwards and the team for volunteering to play and my apologies again to Margaret Johnstone who missed out on the day due to an email error from my side. This meant Julie Robertson had to play on her own, so my apologies go to her as well.

Please remember that the next match is away to Dunfermline on 29/11/26.

Cheers

Fiona Johnston, Winter League Convenor.
