The Past Captains Day teed off at 10 am with 12 ladies playing a Stableford. The incentive of playing for the Muriel Rae Claret Jug made for a keen competition The weather was favourable warm and sunny and an enjoyable fun game was had by all.
After the match the ladies changed looking lovely in summer dresses. Heather Dawson welcomed the 18 past captains including those who were attending the lunch only. It was a lively, happy afternoon with much laughter and chat as friends came together .
The day was complete when Heather announced the winner of the Muriel Rae Claret Jug is Sue Waddell with 37 points and runner-up Mary Hope with 35 points
