Downfield Report 12th August
The Blairgowrie Ladies received a warm welcome at Downfield on 12th August. We teed off in bright sunshine The tree lined course afforded much needed shade. There was clear evidence that a number of holes had a few changes, making approaches to the greens very different from previous years.
Following the match both teams enjoyed a lovely two course meal in the newly refurbished clubhouse which presented as bright and airy. Votes of thanks were given by Team Captains..
The result was 3-1 win to Downfield, with our two players Jo and Teresa winning their match never having played the course before.
