How to Handle Priority at the 9th Tee for the Winter League
Ladies Winter League
This competition played weekly throughout winter, takes place over the 1st the 2nd and then the 9-18th holes on the Lansdowne Blue Course.
The problem of priority at the 9th tee has been discussed by the Ladies and Gents club and the committee have agreed that the ladies and any other golfers on the course arriving at the 9th tee at the same time should have alternate rights to the tee.
Technically any golfer cutting in should allow players playing the full round priority. However it was concluded ---
a. because of the long history of the ladies winter league.
b. its relatively small field meaning only slight disruption to any other players.
-----that this compromise position would be the better solution for all playing.
We hope all players will support the initiative, and all enjoy their golf with as little interruption as possible.
