Ladies' Extra Medals

This year the ladies' section has managed to obtain extra tee times during certain weekends so that ladies who are unable to play during the week have access to a weekend competition. Anyone can enter and these medals are competitions totally independent of those played on the previous Friday. This means that if you have played on the Friday but would like to play again on the following day, then you may. The times are limited but if we do not use them we will lose them. The dates for these competitions are as follows:

Saturday July 17th 2010 10:00 am
Sunday August 22nd 2010 10:00 am
Saturday September 18th 2010 10:00am

Heather Anderson wins Scottish Senior Ladies' (Close) Stroke Play Championship

Congratulations to Blairgowrie’s Heather Anderson, who was the only player to break 80 on a sunny but windy day at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club. Her score of 73 allowed her to leap to the top of the leader board and win the Scottish Senior Ladies' (Close) Stroke Play Championship by two shots from Fiona de Vries (St Rule) and the first round leader Anne Ryan (Tain). Today Heather starts her bid to defend the Scottish Senior Ladies' (Close) Match Play title at Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club (1 July 2010) which she won in 2009. Good luck Heather.
