FROM THE MATCH SECRETARY
Monday the 25th of April saw our Blairgowrie Ladies playing in the friendly match at Elie and in the evening playing hosts to Auchterader in the Handicap league. The order of the day, weatherwise was some sun, lots of wind, various degrees of cold with the addition of snow at both venues. The order of the day golfwise was draws all round.
Elie v. Blairgowrie
Captain for the day, Muriel McPherson lead a well wrapped up team, who despite the weather, shared the spoils on the day, 2-2. The greens were very tricky with the ball blowing and rolling on most of them, making putting great fun at times. A lovely two course meal followed, with Muriel giving a warm vote of thanks to our hosts. Thank you to the team of Muriel McPherson, Muriel Rae, Fiona Johnston,, Sheila Ritchie, Linda Rice, Judith Clowe, Christine Ogilvie, and Ann Spence
Blairgowrie v. Auchterader
Handicap Captain for the night Mary Hope reported that the course proved difficult for both teams with the snow and wind making all the greens hard to read, with some holes playing even longer than usual. The result of 2.5 to 2.5 was a fair result on a very cold night. Thank you to the team of Mary Hope, Liz Fertacz, Bronwen Godley, Brenda Clough and Carol Turner.

FROM THE MATCH SECRETARY
The New Handicap League
The Blairgowrie Team of Liz Fertacz, Brenda Clough, Bronwen Goodley, Jacqui Landsburgh and Fiona Johnston had the pleasure of hosting Blairgowrie's first match in the Handicap League on Monday 11th April. It was a very enjoyable evening with the Crieff ladies, who all liked the course, some never having played it before, and the comforting food provided in the bar following the match.
This early arranged match tested all against the elements of the wind, the cold, but most of all the gradual loss of light. A big thank you to all for volunteering. Blairgowrie emerged with a 3-2 win.
