WEE COURSE LADIES  - OPENING OF THE SEASON

It was a lovely day yesterday for the Opening of the Season for the Wee Course Ladies. Six ladies took part including a new member who came along on Monday to the Coffee Morning. Everyone enjoyed their golf and the chat and coffee afterwards.  Charles kindly took the photograph below of the ladies who took part. They are now all looking forward to a weekly game together.

PINEHURST FUN COMPETITION

There were 26 ladies who took part in the last of the pre-season fun competitions.  Everyone enjoyed the Pinehurst format over 16 holes on Lansdowne and came in smiling with some excellent scores.

WEE COURSE LADIES' COFFEE MORNING

I was delighted today to join 21 Wee Course ladies for a cup of coffee and a piece of shortbread together with seven members from the Ladies Committee.  After I had welcomed everyone and introduced the committee members I handed over to Shirley, who reminded the ladies of the format for weekly turn up and play competitions, monthly medals and playing for a handicap.  The Opening Session for the Wee Course Ladies is Thursday 30^th March at 9.30 a.m. and Shirley would be happy to see anyone who can manage to play a few holes on the Wee Course and have a coffee afterwards.

Everyone present had a very enjoyable morning.
