Belated congratulations to Katy Alexander who won the Perth & Kinross County Girls' Championship at Alyth Golf Club on Sunday 7th July. Katy shot a superb scratch score of 71 (level par) to take the title.And good luck to Emily Aird who will be playing today (Monday 15th July) in the North of Scotland Ladies Championships at Elgin. This competition runs from 15th to 17th July.
UPDATE
Emily qualified comfortably for the scratch match-play at Elgin, taking place over 16 holes. She finished in joint 5th place with a gross 78.
On Tuesday Emily won her first round of the scratch match-play, but lost out to the Scottish Ladies' Amateur Champion, Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne), in the Quarter-finals.
