What a treat this was today.  Eleven ladies had a lot of fun, lots of imagination and some very presentable necklaces and bracelets produced.  There were so many different types of beads and beautiful colours.  It was difficult to make a choice.   Linda Normand was so helpful and patient.  Thank you Kathy Cameron for suggesting her and thanks to Linda for a super morning.

PUTTING HINTS, TIPS AND TECHNIQUES WITH NEIL CAMERON

27 Ladies came to the ever popular annual putting lesson with Neil.  Neil  stressed the importance of how putting well can make a huge difference to the score and handicap. He covered ways on the green to observe and learn from others putting,  the way the green is cut, marking and lining up the ball. Today we heard about the setup and the thinking process making sure we make good use of the practice putting green before going out on the course.  There were lots of questions and a few rules covered.  Neil then went on to talk about the new thinking with putters, showing us the new L.A.B putters.  A bit pricey but designed to straighten the putts.  Neil also talked about the different types of grips and of course the all important golf balL
