BLAIRGOWRIE VS ELIE MATCH RESULTS 27/04/2015
Yesterday Blairgowrie played Elie in our annual friendly match over Rosemount. Sadly the weather played rather a big part in the match, with heavy rain/wind resulting in the match being abandoned around the 15th. Elie were ahead in 3 games at this point and claimed the win. (Some may say it should have been deemed a friendly draw.) The disappointment of having to abandon was, however, soothed by the good company and an excellent meal afterwards in the dinning room.
Our thanks go to the team for representing our club!
Team: Janette Hamilton (Captain), Ann Henry, Jacqui Landsburgh, Heather Dawson, Doreen Johnston, Moira Stewart, Dianne Wallace and Sheila Christie.

BLAIRGOWRIE LADIES VS FORFAR LADIES
Blairgowrie v Forfar Match Result
Today Blairgowrie Ladies played Forfar Ladies in our annual friendly match. Despite a cool Easterly breeze apparently some bare arms were on show! (They must be more hardy up in Forfar...) After a well contested match played in good spirits, Blairgowrie came out on top, winning 3 -1. The ladies retired to the clubhouse after the game and enjoyed drinks and a chat followed by an excellent meal in the dinning room. A great start to the season Ladies! Many thanks go to the team:
Linda Rice (Captain), Mary Miller, Fiona Johnston, Barbara Cuthbert, Ann Spence, Katy Chapman, Doreen Johnston and Meriel Walker.

RESULTS LADIES VS SENIOR MEN THE COLUMBINE TROPHY
The ladies played the senior men yesterday for the Columbine Trophy. It was a happy day, enjoyed by all who played in very blustery conditions. We are pleased to announce that the ladies on this occasion recorded a victory!
