WINTER LEAGUE 26/10/12

On the 1st  tee...Birte and Jan

We played the  first Winter League of the new season  in lovely sunny conditions, with the trees on Lansdowne showing off a panoply of beautiful autumn colours.  Sadly we received news last week of the death of Betty Scott, a long-standing member of  Blairgowrie Golf Club, so several ladies withdrew from the competition to attend Betty's funeral  which took place in Monifeith today.

The Winter League  is played off 2/3 handicap over 12 holes.
