The SGU has asked us to thank all the ladies who volunteered to help with ball spotting and car parking duties at the Scottish Amateur Championship last week. It was a great week culminating in a keenly-contested Final over two rounds on Saturday 3rd August.Some of us followed the finalists for the two rounds. The morning was benign, but the afternoon brought gale-force winds and wind-swept hair-styles.
